All in all the training days have given me the confidence not only to enter my first triathlon with the positive mind frame but the knowledge that no matter what minor disasters are thrown at me I have the skill set required to get to the end of the race. This is exactly the mindset a nervous first time triathlete should have. I cannot recommend Fiona or the training days highly enough.

Training Days

Attending one of our Triathlon Training days is an effective way to develop new aspects of your triathlon performance and enhance your training. Each day provides a program of swim, bike and run sessions along with a variety of workshops focusing on topics such as nutrition, bike maintenance and race preparation and strategies.

Dates 2012

3 day weekend triathlon courses - Suffolk

This 3 day course will focus on maximising your training going into the triathlon season:

  • Swim Video filming analysis and stroke correction with a SwimSmooth certified coach
  • Baseline testing to identify training intensities for cycling and running
  • Nutritional advice and practical workshop

Friday 18th to Sunday 20th May 2012

An early season focus on technical aspects:

  • Transition workshop - learning tips and tricks
  • Race specific sessions to develop cycling pace awareness and run strength off the bike
  • Swim Video filming analysis and stroke correction with a SwimSmooth certified coach

Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July 2012

**This 3 day course focus is on Olympic and middle distance race preparation:

  • Open water skills and strategies to leave you fresh and fast for the bike and run
  • Developing an optimal aero position on the bike and time trialling workshop
  • Transition skills and run pacing

Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd July 2012

**A weekend workshop specifically for long course/ Ironman triathletes:

  • Identifying your nutritional needs and putting together a race specific plan
  • Progressing your cycle mileage and efficiency for the marathon
  • Swim Video filming analysis and stroke correction with a SwimSmooth certified coach

Friday 25th to Sunday 27th August 2012 (Bank Holiday weekend)

This final 3 day course is aimed specifically for competitors at the London Triathlon:

  • Course familiarisation, tips and tricks
  • Swim Video filming analysis and stroke correction with a SwimSmooth certified coach
  • Specific bike and run sessions to prepare you for a late season event
