Triathlon Swim sessions resume in January
Our regular Wednesday and Friday evening triathlon swim training sessions resume after the Christmas break, w/c 3rd January 2011 at Richmond Pools on the Park
The Wednesday swim runs for one hour from 9-10pm, and is a pacing session with an emphasis on speed endurance. The Friday sessions are from 8:30-9:30pm with an aerobic endurance focus. Both sessions incorporate triathlon specific drills and skill development throughout the Winter and early Spring to prepare you for the season ahead, and continue optimising your technique for open water triathlon swimming.
There is also limited availability on the monthly Sunday morning swim workshops 7-9:30am, where you can have your swim technique filmed from all angles (including underwater and above), reviewed, analysed and recommendations made for you to improve specific aspects. This is the perfect time of year to work on making adjustments to your stroke which will translate into speed improvements for your 2011 season races!
